Semaglutide, or Ozempic when sold under its brand name, is an anti-diabetic medication. Semaglutide and liraglutide, which you may know under brand names like Wegovy, Saxenda, Ozempic, or Mounjaro. It is most commonly used as a treatment for type 2 diabetes as well as a treatment for obesity and weight management.

Common side effects of RYBELSUS:
The most common adverse reactions, reported in ≥5% of patients treated with RYBELSUS® are nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, and constipation. The majority of reports of nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea occurred during dose escalation. Side effects subside after 3-5 days.
